Okey, so I'm making a knife now. Here is what i have done so far:
Cut and grinded the shape. Annealed it, 850 C x 20 mins Oil bath 200 C x 2 hours, twice Still have a lot of work to do, like grinding off the shell and polish. Make a handle, and polish it. I am also considering acid etching it, although I haven't done that before so we'll see what I do. The material is industrial pure carbon steel. |
